What is a Product Type on a certified product?

When setting a certification scheme(s) against a product you can also select the ‘Product Type’. This is the classification of the product by the certifying body (i.e. FSC, PEFC).
By setting this classification against the scheme in the product, when it is stamped against the movements for the product the certification scheme and product type is recorded. This makes reporting to the certification bodies easier.

Product Types can be setup in the Settings > Certification > Product Types
