If you prefer not to open each order individually, you can also change the status of an order from the Live Picked Orders list, without having to open and view it.
Navigate to the Sales section, select Live Orders, and then choose Picked Orders to see a list of orders ready for dispatch.
Find the order you want to update and click the Action button to the right.
Find the order and click the Action button to the right, then select the relevant status for your order from the list to make the change.
The status will update immediately, reflecting the new stage in the dispatch process.
Bulk Progressing Multiple Orders
For even greater efficiency, you can progress multiple orders at once.
From the Live Picked Orders view select multiple orders from the list by clicking on them.
Once selected, click the relevant status button at the top of the screen.
For example, you could select 2 orders and then click the Mark as In Transit (Selection) button.
This will update all selected orders to the chosen status simultaneously, saving you time and effort. Additionally, if document scenarios are set up, actions like printing dispatch notes can automatically trigger based on the updated statuses, further streamlining your workflow.
